My Favorite Silver Jewellery Pieces.

Sunday 29 March 2015
I have always been really into jewellery so i thought i would share my favorite silver items!

Necklaces
For necklaces i have a dainty one, a statement one and a simplistic piece. The coin was the most recent one i received as a christmas present so i don't really know much about it apart from it is a st Christopher coin. This is just my everyday silver necklace as it is so easy to wear. Next is my simplistic piece which is actually from a church fair. I paid around £1 for it which is an absolute bargain. To me, this is a good in between of a dainty necklace and a statement piece. The final necklace is for the days i want to dress up a bit. I saw a necklace very similar to this but it was really expensive so, i did some hunting on amazon and found this one for around £5. For the price it is amazing quality and it hasn't lost any of the coins that dangle from it!

Rings
The same applies for necklaces and rings for me. I like to either go all out or keep it simple. The first two rings are real silver. The flower one is Pandora and the heart one is from a local jewellery shop (i think they are both around £45). I like to stack these up on my thumb for a simple, everyday look. The large green one was from a local trinket shop in my town. This ring is a lot bigger than the other two, as you can see above, but it is so light weight that is feels comfortable enough to wear all day!

The other bits...
I don't own many watches or earrings so i tend to just keep it simple. The watch is of course a Casio. I have one in silver and gold for every occasion. It was only around £13 from amazon and i have had it well over a year now. To finish off are my favorite earrings ever! I recently got these for my 19th birthday and i have worn them ever since. These Vivienne Westwood earrings are the 3D orb ones which were around £45. I wear these all the time and i love them! They dont feel heavy or drag my ear lobes down (ew!).

I'd say i love my rings the most and I am always in the market for some new ones. I have recently been lusting over the Great Frog mickey skull ring!

Perfume Collection.

Thursday 26 March 2015
I don't have the biggest perfume collection but it is building up gradually! These are what i have bought myself and what my friends and family have bought me.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh (75ml £55)
This is the one i have had for the longest and it has done me well. Although it is running low now i can still manage to get a few sprays out of it. This scent really remind me of the purple parma violets sweets i used to have. I am sure everyone knows what this smells like by now anyway, everyone has it!

Ghost Cherish (50ml £32)
I received this perfume for my birthday and i actually really love the way it smells. The only thing i can describe it as is a much more grown up scent. I think it is because it does smell a lot more fruity with a hint of floral.

Lady Gaga Fame (50ml £32)
This is the scent i used to wear a lot. I used to wear this for work/everyday but i am running a bit low on the stuff now. I would say it has a hint of floral but it smells of something else i just cant describe. For a celebrity perfume i think it is really nice.

Marc Jacobs Honey (50ml £45)
I think this is one of my favorite perfumes ever. It does have a hint of a honey smell to it but again you can defiantly smell the floral scents to it. Marc Jacobs perfumes will always draw me in with their lovely bottle and sweet smells.

Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Scent Spray (100ml £16)
I don't know if this is a perfume or not but i love the smell of it. At first i thought it would smell a bit grandma-ish but it is far from it. It is a really fresh summery scent.

Chloe Love Story (30ml £46)
To finish off i have the Chloe scent that was a present from my friend for my birthday. It is easy to say this is the one i have been wearing the most recently. Not only do i love the bottle but the scent is so feminine and fresh and it lasts for a really long time.

These are all of my perfume so far, i really want to get my hands on the Roberto Cavalli one (in the gold bottle), it smells divine!

Desk Decor.

Sunday 22 March 2015
My desk is either a work space or a dressing table so, recently i have had a move around to make it more practical. I also bought some bargains along the way.

Right hand corner of my desk.
Left hand corner.
Fairy lights at the top of my desk mirror.
Plants - I have a few plants in my bedroom now and they really make my room feel more homely, i am also liking the colour green at the minute! The two small ones are from Ikea (Pack of 3 around £4.50) and the larger one is from Homebase (£5).

Candles - I like to have candles burning if i am at my desk in the evening to give off some relaxing light. I have two on my desk, the grey one is from Ikea and was only 95p! The large white candle (you can only see a fraction of it on the first picture, sorry!) was £4 and it burns for 120 hours. I thought this was a bargain as it is a lot bigger than the Yankee ones and a whole lot cheaper.

Fairy Lights - Fairy lights are a good alternative to candles if your not into that kind of thing. I choose have both because i love them equally as much. My fairy lights where from B&M's for £4.

Charity Shop Finds - The small pot that has my jewellery in it was a 50p find from one of my local charity shops. You can find some real bargains at charity shops if you dig deep enough.

Art Work - I got my little easel from The Pound Shop with a small canvas. You could use the canvas to paint on but i just used some card. If you didn't want to draw or create any art work yourself they sell postcard prints at Paperchase starting from about 60p.

For my make-up and hair essentials i store them under my desk in boxes from Ikea, they were around £2.50 each.
That is everything so far but i am sure my desk space will grow over time!

DIY Plant Hanger.

Wednesday 18 March 2015
I love the plant hangers which seem to be everywhere at the moment so i thought i would have a go at making one myself.

I used:
- Leather
- Ribbon
- Pen
- Ruler
- Scissors
- Stapler
And of course the plant that you want to hang.

It was so simple all i did was cut two thin strips of leather about 45cm long (cut them however low you want the plant to hang) then lay them over each other like a plus sign.
Once i got my shape i stapled the strips in the center where they met, making sure they were still overlapping each other.
I then just put my plant on top of the leather strips, brought them all up together so they met at the top and tied the ribbon around them very tightly. I then finished off with making a loop out of the ribbon so i was able to hang it. Here is the outcome...

I hung mine from my shelf underneath my TV with a drawing pin and it is still holding on strong!

Asos Lust List

Saturday 14 March 2015
Everybody who knows me will know that Asos is my favorite place to shop! So, after browsing the website for hours these are the things i am lusting over.
All pictures are from the Asos website.
1) ALDO roncari rose gold leather flat sandals (£50) - I have to start with some sandals! I don't usually like rose gold but i think these ones look really nice. I also like the style of them, with the strap around the heel and over the top of the foot.

2) Abercrombie & Fitch embroidered open back cheesecloth boho dress (£64) - I love this dress, i think it would look lovely in summer with some sandals or even some suede boots. The only down side is the large price tag.

3) Lira long line over sized boyfriend t-shirt (£15) - I have about 100 tops like this one but you can never have to many! Its just a versatile tee that everyone should have!

4) Daisy Street v neck raglan sweater dress in stripe (£14.99) - I have been hunting for the perfect stripe dress for ages now and although this isn't exactly what i wanted would have been a good alternative and it is extremely cheap which is always a plus.

5) First and I wide leg pant (£20) - I have been wanting some culottes for a while now and i really liked these white ones for Spring and Summer. I think they will look lovely with some brown leather sandals and a baggy top tucked in.

6) Asos half frame metal cutwork sunglasses (£15) - The final thing on my list are some sunglasses. I really like the cat eye metal work detail on the ones above. It makes them look really different to your usual primark beauts.

I am sure i will come across more things that i want but for now, that's all!

3 Hair Favorites!

Sunday 8 March 2015
These 3 products have really been helping my hair look its best recently so i thought i'd share my thoughts on them!

I don't tend to use all 3 together, i usually use the bumble&bulmble heat/uv protection spray (white and orange bottle) then the bumble&bumble thickening spray or the percry&reed wonder balm.

I always use a heat protection spray first because it not only protects my hair but it makes it feel easier to brush through. It is only a small bottle but a little goes a long way and i really like the way it makes my hair feel. If i want my hair to be easier to work with i will use the thickening spray. This really plumps my hair up but it does make it a bit dry. I have had a few bottles of this now and when this one runs out i will definitely splurge out on another one. If i want my hair to feel softer and look more silky i will use the percy&reed wonder balm.

I don't usually like using creams in my hair because i feel like they make it greasy straight after i have washed it but i decided to give this a go and i ended up really liking it. I just rub the tiniest amount into my palms then apply it from root to tip in my damp hair. It makes my hair look shiny and make it feel super soft. I would highly recommend all of these products!
